War Don Don Makes End-of-Year Lists of 2010

After playing to critical acclaim in 2010, Rebecca Richman Cohen’s War Don Don has made several end-of-the-year round up lists:

- Village Voice posted Cynthia Fuchs’ favorite films of 2010 with War Don Don at #4.
- Philadelphia City Paper listed the film in their top 21 Movies of 2010.
- The film made Cinematical’s list of 10 Best Documentaries of 2010 To Watch For writing “one of the most thought-provoking films I saw all year and one of the few human rights-centered docs I found to be important for reasons other than just their issues.”

The film’s outreach campaign also continues in full swing. War Don Don screened this month for judges at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The film also had a Cambodian premiere in Phnom Penh with a discussion led by the Cambodia Center for Human Rights. Recently the film was translated into Georgian and screened in Tbilisi on International Human Rights Day.
