The Parking Lot Movie To Run At BFI London Film Festival and Air On PBS Independent Lens

MercuryMedia title The Parking Lot Movie is set to receive both its European premiere and U.S Broadcast premiere on the 19th October.

Hailed as the “feel good film” of the 2010 South by Southwest Film Festival, Meghan Eckman’s debut feature will play at the prestigious BFI London Film Festival which runs from 13-28 October. The film has proved popular with the public with sold out screenings on three consecutive dates: Oct 19, 20, 21st.

The film will also kick off the new season of PBS Independent Lens on Tuesday 19th October at 10pm E.T. Positive reviews have appeared in The Huffington Post , N.Y Times, and L.A Times ahead of the U.S premiere. The broadcast will feature a special introduction from actress America Ferrera of Ugly Betty fame.
