Soka Afrika Screening at Sunny side of the Doc

MercuryMedia and Masnomis, in association with The SRK, will host a private screening of Soka Afrika at this year’s Sunny Side of the Doc. The screening will take place on Thursday June 24th at 5:30pm in the Screening Room.

Soka Afrika follows the lives of two young African footballers, Kermit from South Africa and Ndomo from Cameroon. Both are talented and both find themselves alone in Europe taking different paths in pursuit of the same dream: success in professional football on the world stage. These young men’s stories reveal the struggle at the heart of much of African life: football has become a vital lifeline to which many will desperately cling.
