MercuryMedia Annouces Partnership with Artefact Films

MercuryMedia and sister VOD channel joiningthedocs.tv are pleased to announce an official partnership with the Artefact DVD label effective of January 1st 2010.

The forthcoming partnership between Mercury/joiningthedocs.tv and Brighton - based Artefact DVD label will create a new DVD distribution company, dedicated to bringing documentary - film to the home market. Films will be sold through Mercury’s sister VOD platform; joiningthedocs.tv, alongside other exciting channels. The newly created channel will brand itself ‘Artefact Film in Association with Mercury/joiningthedocs.tv.’

Additionally, Mercury/joiningthedocs.tv will bring its signature service to help maximize sales and exposure to the partnership.

Commenting on behalf of Artefact Managing Director Howard Seal said “Artefact is already the longest distributor of documentaries in the UK, this partnership not only adds great films to the Artefact catalogue, but it will also give us a unique global distribution reach”.
