Mercury Announces Sales Spurt And New Slate of Films Ahead Of Mipcom 2010

MercuryMedia International are pleased to announce new sales to international broadcasters.

VRT Belgium have acquired a three title package including This Is My Land Hebron, Scientists Under Attack and The Invention of Dr NakaMats; Multicanal Spain similarly have acquired a three title package including Stalin Thought of You, The Trial and American Radical; Al Jazeera Documentary Channel and Al Jazeera English have also acquired American Radical, along with Russia Today who have also acquired This Is My Land Hebron.

German pubcaster ZDF have acquired Dalai Lama doc, The Unwinking Gaze, and ZDF Arte Germany have acquired the BBC Scotland title from Saltire Films King Of Scots.

Discovery US have acquired Oil Doc, Houston We Have A Problem as have Venezuelan pubcaster Telesur and South Korean outfit, Daehan Media World.

Mercury has recently acquired a slate of festival winning titles to launch at Mipcom including: War Don Don, the 2010 SXSW jury winner from Racing Horse Productions; Sons Of Perdition, the Tribecca 2010 hit and The Parking Lot Movie which debuts at the upcoming BFI London Film Festival in October.
