American Radical to play at Traverse City Film Festival

MercuryMedia title American Radical: The Trials of Norman Finkelstein. has been selected for Michigan’s sixth annual Traverse City Film Festival, set to run from July 27h - August 1st, 2010.

Founded by Academy-Award winning film-maker Michael Moore, the festival has grown to be one of the largest in Midwest America.

American Radical will screen on Friday July 30th, 12pm at the State Theatre and again on Sunday August 1st, 9pm at the Milliken Auditorium.

The title has been a great success on the festival circuit, winning the Audience Choice Award at Chicago Underground Film Festival, 2009. The doc has also screened at many festivals throughout 2010, these include Hot Docs film Festival, Henley International Film Festival, and the Chicago Palestine Film Festival.

The personal portrait follows the trials and tribulations of Jewish American professor Norman Finkelstein, son of concentration camp survivors and a fierce, outspoken critic of Israeli and American policy regarding Palestine
