The Multi-award winning film’s avant-premiere took place on September 28th in Antoine’s very own school. Following this success the film opened in cinema’s across Montreal on October 2nd. With the help from The Montreal School Commission there are plans to promote the film widely to teachers with the hope of including Antoine in their syllabuses. More>

SEA POINT DAYS, a feature-length documentary film directed by local Emmy-award winning filmmaker Francois Verster has been selected for the Sterling World Feature Competition at the prestigious SilverDocs Film Festival. The festival is hosted by the American Film Institute and the Discovery Channel in Washington DC later this month. The film has also been nominated for the festival’s coveted Cinematic Vision Award, and festival programmers have described the film as being “amongst the very best the documentary form has to offer”. This year the documentary travels around the world, receiving awards at film festivals from Qatar to Mexico. Bilal will even be screened at the prestigious Museum of Modern Arts (MoMA) in New York.
